I'm Jean-Pierre from France, I know you remember me

I had several TH crashes this morning, frozing my computer, I had to restart the machine each time. This happened in 2 cases :
- answering emails,
- clicking a web link in the message.

Same problem with my 2 registered TH copies.

My TH setup :
- 4.07 with new round button on the top left,
- french language,
- email reply with Outlook Express, not TH integrated email reply function,
- opens a new IE window, for links,
- 4 email accounts configured,
- Win XP SP2 + ADSL router

Hope this helps, and many thanks for your great work, I know, this will be fixed soon.

Hmmm.... it looks strange - especialy....

If problem still is present try to shut down application and install it from this file: http://www.ireksoftware.com/th/Setup.exe

If you have still those problems - mail me I will try to find some kind of solution.

I'm so sorry, but I still have many crashes with my 4.7 TH ; this happens with my 2 registered copies on 2 different computers.

Crashes happen mostly when I double-click on a mail for reading, some other happen also as TH is working alone in the background. Some crashes freeze the machine, some other do not. My TH are configured for downloading just mail titles while checking mail, not the body ; could it be the reason ? I did not try to tweak the parameters, to retrieve titles + body, I will.

It's quite hard now for me to continue using TH, as I've to restart it several times per day, and in some cases, restart also the computer.

Would it be possible for me, to downgrade to 4.6 version, with no automatic upgrade, because I had no problem with the previous version.

Sorry to hear that. could you repeat once more the step with donloading fresh installer from http://www.ireksoftware.com/th/Setup.exe
I have just addted there a crash report system. If your TH will crash - on next run you will be able to send me a debug information with details of crash. It will help me to find the problem.

I installed the "debug" version ; in the title bar, there is : "TrayHelper 4.7 - UNICODE version - Build Feb 3 2005".

Is it the right version, should not it be "Build Feb 5 2005" ?

Title is fine - the most important thing it's a new DLL file in subdirectory of Tray Helper: CrashDetector.dll -> if you have it - it means you have the right version

Here are good news for you (and for me) : I did not have any crash since the last 2 days ; the 6 feb 2005 version seems OK also, I've been waiting for some time before sending you this feedback, to be sure.
