Hello..I just downloaded TA, however i have some doubts about using it.

The problem is I have a video format (is not avi), an anime, which does not have subtitles. I downloaded the subs, but the thing is that they start too early to appear (because the anime has the opening, but the subs where made without the opening so they appear early).
So, my question is how do i do to make the subs appear later after the opening?. I would really appreciate your help and thank you for reading my problem.
