 Post subject: TimeAdjuster error

FAILED(hr=0x8007007b) in pGB-> RenderFile(wFile, NULL)
What does it mean? When i had XP, it didn't had any problems, when i installed W7, it shows that error.

Hi this error means: "the filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect".
Maybe you're trying to open file with some special (and unsupported by video player) characters?
Try to copy your video and give it simple name like: c:\video.avi - does it help?

hi
i got the same problem!
i entered this forum because i got exactly problem and im using xp
i have been told to install ffdshow, directx, etc.. and nothing helped and i still got this annoying error while trying to open mkv videos
and my friend doesn't have this. he is opening mkv videos freely. and he also tried to open the same mkv video that i tried

It might be due to codec issues.
Try to download and install CCCP Codec Pack: http://www.cccp-project.net/
Let me know if this solves (or not) the issue.
