I have a problem when I shall synk a text. Everything works just fine until I open aviplayer, the movie starts to play but I have no sound. I have tried to unmute but it doesn´t help.

In 99% it's a problem with a movie or coded. Can you hear the sound when you open the movie in Windows Media Player?

I used many times your very good software, but since a week ago I have the same problem: no more sound when I try to get the first line time from the avi player.
All the files I tried where easily read by VLC - I don't use Windows Media Player.

I had the same problem, but I'll try to describe the problem better..

Config: W7 64-bit, honest licencse, DirectX 11, WMP 12.0, VLC 2.0.3
Codec: A52 Audio (aka AC3)(a52)

There are sound when i play the file in mediaplayer and vlc-player.
Other files that have Codec MPEG Audio layer 1/2/3 (mpga) works fine.

All files works fine on my old comuter with the following config:
XP Home Ed SP2, honest licence, DirectX 9.0c, WMP 9.0, VLC 1.0.5

The only difference was that i had the ac3-codec installed on the xp-computer, so i installed the ac3-filter on my w7-computer and hureka there was sound!
