Does this feature actually work? Try as I may, nothing happens after Tray Helper has picked up new mail. It doesn't even make an attempt to send off the auto response. And yes, I have added the correct SMTP, activated the account's auto respond and all the other settings are as per instructions. Any ideas?

Please note that to test auto-reponder you need to send an email at your account from an another account. Auto responder to avoid many strange problems do not send auto reponses to messages that are not delivered trought internet mail servers.

In other words if your email account is me@server.com to test auto reponder send email at me@server.com from an account other thatn me@server.com

I have done that, in fact tried to send the message from several different email accounts, unfortunately without success. The program just picks up the messages but does not attempt to send a reply.
Another interesting point is that when filling in the details the program suggests an SMTP which is not the one I use but related to the same company (I have smtp.welho.com and it suggests one that ends with or has htv.com in it, which is the company under which the ISP operates). I have also tried with the suggested SMTP, just in case, but it doesn't work any better.
